Admissions
At Kindiejoes preschool and nursery we offer full or part time care for children from 2.5 years until they start school. For younger children we have a minimum attendance requirement of 2 sessions per week (a school day is classed as 1 session). When children move to the preschool year we expect a minimum of 4 sessions (a school day is classed as 2 sessions). This allows us to better support your child’s learning journey and development. We invite you to Contact Us to arrange a visit during a session to see the nursery in action.
D2D is open to all children from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School. For D2D after school you can book a 3-6pm or 4-6pm session. For the 4-6pm session you need to ensure your child has a place on a St Joseph’s school club between 3-4pm (appropriate charges apply).

Breakfast of cereals/toast and drink is served at the breakfast club and a light snack and drink at the after school club. Weekly menus are displayed on the notice board. Fresh water is freely available throughout the sessions.

D2D dates are based on St Joseph’s School term dates including known inset days and bank holiday dates
Funded Early Education (FEE)
The FEE aims to give all 3 & 4 year olds up to 15 universal hours per week funded nursery education, from the term after their third birthday, for a maximum of thirty eight weeks a year.
We are also registered to offer the 15 hours per week extended funded childcare, term time (30 hours).

D2D Registration
There are 2 types of registration at D2D. For fixed weekly sessions children are enrolled on to a regular place. This is a guaranteed place for the academic year, or remainder if enrolling after September.
For ad hoc sessions children are enrolled on to a standby place. For a standby registration a maximum of 3 sessions may be booked per half term. This is to book one off sessions where regular care is not required.
